Adult Support
The transition to adult life can bring new opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges for individuals and their families. At Estero Learning Partners, we provide individualized support for adults who are working toward greater independence, participation, and quality of life.
Our services are guided by what is most meaningful to each individual. We collaborate with adults, their families, and support teams to build practical skills, increase participation in home and community life, and work toward goals that matter in everyday life. Support is provided in real-world settings where skills can be practiced and applied in meaningful ways.
For some individuals, success may mean learning to prepare meals independently. For others, it may be ordering at a restaurant, attending appointments with greater confidence, navigating community activities, or developing the skills needed to pursue employment.
We believe independence looks different for everyone. Our goal is to help individuals build skills that increase choice, participation, and confidence in the areas of life that matter most to them.
Building Independence Through Real-Life Experiences
The most meaningful support focuses on the skills and situations that matter in everyday life.
Our services focus on building and practicing skills in the environments where they are actually needed, whether that's preparing a meal at home, making a purchase in the community, attending a recreational activity, navigating a medical appointment, or building the skills needed for employment.
Before services begin, we take time to understand the individual's strengths, support needs, priorities, and goals. From there, we develop practical strategies that reflect their unique circumstances and provide support that is respectful, individualized, and focused on long-term success.
